In 1994, Charlie R. Skemp founded our firm on one clear principal; we must serve our clients first.
We set out on a mission to build a culture of transparency, disciplined decision making, and client alignment.
This moment set the standard that defines our identity and continues to guide every move we make today.

By 1999, the firm evolved into IPI Wealth Management, strengthening leadership and deepening operational capabilities while remaining grounded in its fiduciary foundation.
As new advisors joined and client relationships expanded, growth followed steadily. The direction forged in that season endured for decades, anchored by the same principles that define its beginnings.
Tim Nobles joins the Galeon team in 1999.

2007 was a profound year of achievement for our team, solidifying our foundations and reaching new heights for our community's success.
Expanding into new states and welcoming in a second location, our ability to provide quality service to our communities strengthened.
In 2007, we continued our growth and welcomed Staci Leitzinger to the firm.

In 2024, the firm took a defining step forward, rebranding as Galeon Asset Management. Our name “Galeon” symbolizes a ship built for long voyages, designed to protect valuable cargo across unpredictable waters – an embodiment of our work with clients.
This milestone marked a turning point, blending the firm’s long-standing expertise with a renewed identity, setting the course to serve clients with strength, clarity, and purpose for decades to come.
In 2024, we welcomed Charles R. Skemp to the firm.

Today, Galeon is focused on the journey ahead. Every decision we make is designed to help clients navigate uncertainty with confidence. We guide families, protect legacies, and create opportunities that matter.
The future is a partnership - one built on trust, clarity, and a shared vision for what’s next.

Leadership at Galeon is stepping forward when it matters most, setting a clear course and standing accountable for the outcomes we influence.
Through patience, discernment, and understanding what truly matters, we guide clients through complexity and uncertainty.
We think differently, adapt to changing circumstances, and craft solutions that fit each client’s life.
Discipline is our foundation, guiding how we manage risk, execute strategies, and maintain consistency through changing markets.
